Tumbling Essentials was founded by Natalia, a BSc Environmental Earth Science graduate and lifelong mineral collector. The company was established to provide a reliable source of supplies for the tumbling community, bridging the gap between mass-market hobby kits and the professional results that enthusiasts expect but often struggle to achieve.

Despite years of collecting minerals, Natalia’s initial experience with rock tumbling was disappointing. Like many, she found that standard kits often produced dull, lacklustre stones - a frustration that led her to step away from tumbling for a couple of years.

She only returned after researching the process more deeply and sourcing the specific materials required for a proper shine. It became clear that the kits sold by the companies selling rock tumblers often lack the essential components needed for success.

Tumbling Essentials was created to provide these missing pieces. By focusing on supplying effective polish that delivers a superior finish compared to standard silicon carbide or pumice powder, the company ensures a reliable path to a mirror-like shine. Additionally, every kit includes non-abrasive ceramic media to provide the necessary cushioning often overlooked in basic sets.
